In 2006-2012 Ivan was the Deputy Chairman and later Chairman of the Automotive Components Committee with the Association of
European Businesses in the RF.

Ivan assisted many international clients in entering or expanding the Russian and CIS markets. Among Ivan’s clients are the majority
of Russian and foreign OEMs, tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers.

Ivan gained ample media coverage with respect to expert analysis of the Russian automotive industry and regularly speaks at
industry-specific international conferences and round tables.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Ivan was an Advisor to the General Director for Russia and CIS of Continental AG.
Ivan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Master’s in Finance from Sofia University and an MBA degree from INSEAD.

Prior to EURussia Partners, Ivan worked for SI Capital Partners (an EMEA PE fund) as a

industrial manufacturing investment portfolio and advisory deals.

In the period 2005-2012 led Ernst & Young CIS Automotive Practice based out of Moscow and
progressed from Manager to Director in the Transaction Advisory Services group. Ivan led

preparation of investment documentation, information memoranda, financial modeling, valuation,

Before joining Magnetto Group, Michele was Business Development and later MD at Bertone, the production and Styling unit of the
Bertone concern.

Before Bertone Michele held various positions in Tier-1 Automotive and Aviation companies, including as  a Financial Controller.
Michele holds a degree in Economics from Modena University and an MBA degree from SAA Torino.
Michele is one of the best automotive and industrial manufacturing business development
experts in EMEA and the Asia-Pac with hands-on experience and a significant track record of
new businesses and strategic alliances. In 2013 together with Ivan Bonchev he established
EURussia Partners LLC.

In 2012 Michele worked as a Strategy and Integration Director for a forging and machining Tier-
1 supplier under the Barclays PE umbrella.

2006-2011 Michele was the Head of International Development of MA-CLN Group with direct
responsibility for Russia & CIS, India, China and South Africa. During this period he:
Successfully established a JV with an Indian partner and started up a plant in Pune.
Led strategy development and deployment for the AP&A FORD operations, including
various acquisitions in South Africa.
Strengthened the tie-up with BMW, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, GM and Nissan on global programs.
Performed a feasibility study for entry in the China market.
Established a strategic partnership with a major Russian steelmaker.

for Ford in the Asia Pacific region.
